Lil Jon Re-sparks Crunk

The American rapper and music producer Lil Jon announced that his first solo album after the split from the East Side Boyz would be released in June of 2010. Known for his unique style of music, the album was expected to create some waves among hip hop lovers around the world.

At the time Lil Jon declared that the new album will come as a re-spark to the crunk movement he is responsible for. The producer has always created an interesting, high-velocity brand of hip-hop and crunk became his signature style, which also lead to the naming of the new album as Crunk Rock.

Lil Jon announced to the press that songs from the album will include fellow artists The Game, Elephant Man, Pitbull, Akon and more. His plan to re-spark the crunk movement also involved the collaborations with other hip-hop artists from America. il Jon has combined his southern sounding rap to that of west coast giant The Game and the American-Latino rapper Pitbull. The combination would turn into a fast paced (due to Pitbull), dark and gansta (with the help of Game) songs with a get-on-the-floor crunk beat, courtesy of Lil Jon. By adding Akon into the mix, for an easier and more melodic flow the songs from the album would definitely be smash hits.

The rapper promised fans that Crunk Rock will be the best of Lil Jon they could ever experience. Featuring all the talented artists and MCs on every different track, the southern producer couldn’t be proven wrong. A collaboration between Jon and Game was highly expected from fans, as the former G-Unit member takes his job very seriously and never lets down.

Lil Jon also asked the Ying Yang Twins, Soulja Boy, R.Kelly, Pastor Troy, Florida and Ice Cube to join in and help Crunk Rock achieve his vision.
