The Game Hottest MC on MTV

MTV is one of the hottest music television channels in the world. It has kept this title for a long time and keeps re-inventing itself by starting new shows and competitions to keep everyone coming back to see what’s new.

In 2007 MTV started a new competition, this time for hip-hop lovers all over the world. The show is named 'Hottest MCs in the Game' and each year it designates ten rappers that have had major success, influence and were most heard of in that year. A group of journalists that usually cover the hip-hop world are the ones that choose the 10 MCs out of all of them.

The 2007 edition of Hottest MCs in the Game put rappers from all over America, regardless of style or geographical location they came from into the mix for first place. Important names like Jay-Z, Kanye West, 50 Cent and the Game made it in the top ten. However, number one was a choice for the fans.
